Where: Gettysburg College Campus
When: Camp 1 is June 17-June 22, 2018 and Camp 2 is June 24-June 29, 2018
How Much: $1,395 for lodging, meals, activities field trips, the Arduino kit and car
Who: Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors
Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted until May 1, 2018 and will be considered on a rolling basis. We have limited space so we recommend that you submit an application as soon as possible. We receive applications from many more qualified applicants than we can admit. Once admitted, campers will receive instructions for completing online registration. When the camp is full, registration will close.

CAMP OVERVIEW

Students will learn about Arduino, an open source electronics platform based on easy to use hardware and software. Throughout this program, students will customize projects using their computer knowledge and creativity. This is a novice level course with no previous Arduino experience needed.

TOPICS COVERED

Students will:

  • Gain knowledge about electronics and programing.
  • Build numerous projects during the camp that they can take home along with the kit.
  • Learn to integrate motors, sensors and various input and output devices in multiple ways.
